Frederick Morgan
British 1856 - 1927Titles at the Royal Academy include: “Just Caught” and “The Dolls Tea Party”.
Morgan was one of the most popular painters of his time. From the first, he applied himself to the painting of animals, of people and of course children; and he owes his name to the charm which he knew how to give his minors.
Morgan’s paintings of children were very popular and were often reproduced. Some of his works can be seen in the Leeds Art Gallery, Sheffield Art Galleries and Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool.
