Scottish 1864 - 1936 Henderson was a painter of oils and watercolour, mostly landscapes and coastal scenes. He was the son of Joseph Henderson and the brother of John Henderson. He was educated at Glasgow University and the Glasgow School of Art, also learning much from his father. He was closely associated with the Glasgow Art Club and a member of the Committee of Management, Paisley Art Institute. He was elected ARSA in 1928 and RSA in 1935. He exhibited at the Royal Academy in London from 1892 onwards.
