Italian born 1859 Frederico Moro was a painter of scenes with figures and of landscapes featuring figures. He was born in Arona in 1859 and died sometime after 1900. Moro studied under Professor Norfini at the Accademia in Lucca and went on to take part in the Concours Alinari exhibition of 1900 with a painting entitled Mater Purissima, Ora pro Nobis.
