French fl. 1833 - 1850 Nardeux was a painter of still lifes during the first half of the 19th Century. He was strongly influenced by his 18th Century forefathers, showing a Northern European influence in both style and colouring. Nardeux was a superb painter of detail and his works exhibited at the Paris Salon between 1833 and 1850. He produced numerous lucrative commissions by wealthy patrons.
