Our Specialists & The Haynes Fine Art Team

For over fifty years we have actively searched for paintings worldwide for trade and private clients alike. Our vast knowledge of British and European Art has amounted from our experience within our specialist fields.

Tony Haynes is the eldest son of the late renowned international dealer, Tony Haynes Senior. Tony specialises in 19th to 21st Century British and European art. He opened the family's first gallery back in 1988 and the rest, as they say, is history. This successful string to the Haynes family bow has now gained international recognition for the gallery and has trade and private clients calling upon Tony's 35 plus years’ experience in retail, trade and auction acquisitions.

Michael Brew originally joined us in 1995 and leads our Broadway team. Mike has been a family friend from the days of the late Tony Haynes Snr. Mike has an in depth knowledge of 19th to 21st Century British and European Paintings, an expertise he has shared whilst training many of the Haynes Fine Art current and former team members. Mike has travelled to represent Haynes Fine Art at shows nationally and internationally advising clients on their purchases helping some of the countries biggest collectors with some of their most important acquisitions.

Douglas Chomé Wilson carries the title of Fine Art Valuer and is at the forefront of the Haynes Fine Art valuation and research team. Douglas followed his passion for paintings into the field of fine art in 1978. Douglas started his career in the West End of London where, for over ten years, he worked for Richard Green Gallery. Following that, he was Head of Victorian Paintings at Phillips Auctioneers and Bonhams Auctioneers. With his wealth of knowledge he is a valued member of the Haynes Fine Art brand.

Nicholas Haynes is the first of the Haynes Family grandchildren to be invited to join the family business. After completing his Business Management course Nicholas worked for one of the UK’s leading privately owned property developers heading their regional marketing team. Nicholas, as with all four of the Haynes Family grandchildren, comes from a rich background of living and working with Fine Art. He has, from a very young age, featured in all of the Gallery Summer and Winter Exhibitions and is a familiar face with regular clients.

Wanda Ottlinghaüs joined the team back in 1999 and got the Haynes engine room truly organised and running smoothly. Wanda works closely with Tony Haynes Junior on the day to day running of the gallery, overseeing client requests and updating new stock acquisitions along with her colleague Vicky.

Lindsey Worvill began at Haynes Fine Art in 2018 and is a valued member of the team, working with Tony Haynes Junior and the rest of the team on gallery operations, exhibitions and overall administration to keep things on track.

Paul Toberman has been in the antiques trade for over twenty years having held prominent roles which include Director of Marks Antiques, front of house Sales Advisor at Adrian Alan and e Palm Beach Show Group. Paul is also a familiar face on the major International Fairs circuit, exhibiting at the AIFAF (American International Fine Art Fair) in Palm Beach and at TEFAF (The European Fine Art Fair) in Maastricht.

Clive Toberman has been involved in the antiques world for over thirty years and has worked at length for two leading antique silver dealers - H. Perovetz and Marks Antiques. For the last six years Clive has enjoyed selling vintage watches for George Somlo, the celebrated dealer in the Burlington Arcade, London. A recognised face within the circle of international collectors, Clive is a very complimentary addition to the Haynes Fine Art team many of whom he has known for twenty-five years.

Emma Haynes spent her early years with her father and grandfather in the gallery attempting to mimic and sell to all comers. In 2010, David Attenborough presented her with her Business and Computer Science, Bsc (Hons) degree at Nottingham Trent University. Following this, she successfully got fast tracked through the Hewlett Packard graduate scheme to work within their European and Worldwide Business Operations teams. Emma is now heading all acquisitions for both our London and Cotswold galleries and is a regular face at all the Cotswold gallery exhibitions.

All of the Haynes Fine Art team have, between them, over 140 years’ experience behind them and with that have gained acclaim from the two leading British Trade Associations - BADA and LAPADA.
