Edwin Henry Boddington

Edwin Henry Boddington was a London landscape painter. He was the son of Henry John Boddington, also a well known artist.

Edwin exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1854 - 1866, but more often at the British Institute and Suffolk Street. His subjects were mainly views on the Thames. He developed a very personal and recognisable style; his river scenes are usually painted in a calm evening light, using a range of very dark greens and browns
