Galiselv Moritz was one of the few Austrian artists who painted under the influence of the Belle-Époque. Ladies at their dressing tables, evening café scenes, society scenes and other subjects where Moritz had the opportunity to use his wonderful effects of evening light. His interiors are beautifully formed and executed with the fabulous effect of nude created by limited light.
