Louis Ricquier

Louis Ricquier was a painter of historic scenes, genre, portraits and landscapes. He was a pupil of M.de Bree.

Active in Paris, in 1822, 1823 and 1849 Ricquier exhibited genre subjects and landscapes at the Paris Salon. He then travelled to Italy with the most notable works arising from that visit being his many views of Naples and its environs.
