William Oliver

William Oliver’s rustic charmers were some of the most collected images of the late 19th Century. Dainty faces with equally delicate fingers and hands; they were consumed by a wealth of Victorian collectors who loved Oliver’s uncomplicated view of country life
Oliver exhibited fifteen works at the Royal Academy; titles included “A Thing of Beauty’s a Joy for Ever” and “A Love Test”. He also exhibited at the British Institute and Suffolk Street.
