William Watson

William Watson was a Liverpool animal and landscape painter.

He exhibited from 1866-72 at the Royal Academy and exhibited one painting at Suffolk Street. William Watson Jnr. was a pupil of Landseer and Rosa Bonheur and the son of William Watson.

Watson’s paintings can be found in the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, the Mappin Art Gallery, Sheffield, Sunderland Art Gallery and in the Thomas B. Walker Art Collection, Minneapolis, USA.
